I am Nik Dimitrijevič, a tennis coach with a passion for the sport. I graduated from the Faculty of Education at the University of Maribor, specializing in Sports Coaching with a focus on tennis. Tennis has been a part of my life since childhood, as I first stepped onto the court at the age of six and later competed in Slovenian and European tournaments as a player. Since 2017, I have been working as a coach, happily collaborating with players of all ages and levels, from competitors to recreational players.
In my work, I focus on an individual approach, as I believe every player needs a tailored learning method that enables progress and the achievement of personal goals. My values, such as respect, discipline, and teamwork, are essential for quality and successful training.
What I do at Tennis Club Celje:
- I lead the tennis program, where I coach children and adults and assist in organizing international tournaments.
- For two years, I was the director of the international Tennis Europe Under-14 Tournament, which attracts players from around the world.
- For three years, I was the director of the international men's tournament with a prize fund of $15,000, featuring players from across the globe.
- In addition to training, I provide advice on equipment selection, racket stringing, and tournament organization.
Tennis means more to me than just a sport – it is a way of life that has been with me since childhood. My goal is to bring the joy, challenges, and beauty of tennis closer to players and help them develop their potential, whether they are just starting their journey or striving for top achievements.
